September is over and things have been busy busy busy at Ross & Ross HQ! We’ve been running around at trade shows, attending the last (and biggest) food festivals of the year and sending more and more gift boxes for all you super prepared Christmas shoppers.  Plus, we’ve got a new product that we’re REALLY excited about that will be launching soon so we’ve been developing that too!

Through September we’ve been at a couple of big food festivals – Leamington and Thame – with our 10 hour slow roasted shoulder of Cotswolds lamb with homemade salsa verde. This year we’ve also introduced a new dish – slow roasted beef with romesco sauce – which has been going down a treat with the Cotswold foodie crowd! Have you tried one yet? The beginning of September saw Ross B and Ben at Speciality & Fine Food Fair, which is a huge trade show where we find new stockists for our curing kits. We’ve now got lots of lovely new trade customers that are going to be selling our kits in their delis and shops. We’ve spent every spare minute in September developing our new product. Without giving too much away, we’re very excited about it and it’ll be the perfect Christmas present, either to give to someone else or as a cheeky little reward for yourself! After taste tests last week we’re now putting the final touches to it, and we hope to have it ready to introduce to you all in the next few weeks. A little clue for you – if you liked the bacon curing kits you’ll LOVE this!

Last week saw us have our first big Christmas meeting. The major point we took away from it was that it is going to be BUSY as anything. We’re also going to be running our Christmas pre-order system again as you seemed to like that last year – all you super organised people can order any time you like from now and just pop the words ‘Christmas delivery’  into the Order Notes section. We’ll then send your order in the middle of December to arrive in perfect time to wrap and put under the tree.
