Here are some frequently asked questions about our spicy bacon homemade curing kit:
Q. How much Pork do I need?
A. You will need 500g Pork Belly for each 30g Curing Mix
Q. Does this Kit Include Pork?
A. No. You will need to get your Pork from your Local Butcher or Supermarket (List of our recommended Butchers below). We recommend using Pork Belly, but Back bacon will also do the trick.
Q. How long does it take to cure?
A. The whole Bacon Curing process takes 7 days, but only takes 30 minutes preparation time.
Q. Can I reuse the kit?
A. You can reuse all the contents of the kit, apart from the cures. However if you would like refills, then please contact us and we can arrange.
