On the 27th – 29th August, Ross & Ross featured at the Foodies Festival at Alexandra Palace, which gave us the opportunity to showcase our range of products to the general public. This was an extraordinary event, with a lively atmosphere making the whole experience very enjoyable. We met a number of friendly people who wanted to investigate and find out more about our brand, the products we sell and the business we do. It was a pleasure to speak to these people and to give them an insight into what we get up to on a day-to-day basis. We feel very passionate about our products, so it was amazing to see others as engrossed in our products as we are.
At our stand, we presented our BBQ Rubs, Jams, Salts and Oils, giving everyone an opportunity to #enhanceyourBBQ in the limited time we have left of summer. Our BBQ Rubs match up to different kinds of meat, such as our Jerk Rub for Chicken, Cajun Rub for Fish and our Moroccan Rub for Lamb. Ross & Ross offer additional rubs for beef and pork.
Our jams provide a spreadable and flavoursome option for your BBQ meat. These jams can be used with any dish that you decide to cook on your BBQ. The BBQ jams we offer include Sweet Chilli and Lime flavoured, which is my personal favourite as it offers a fresh flavour, a little heat and syrupy texture. Perfect to end your Summer barbecuing with, and have a fresh start for Autumn.
In addition to these products, we also displayed our BBQ oils and salts. Everyone knows cooking on the barbecue is completely different from cooking in the kitchen, so the items and ingredients you use should be different too. In which case, our BBQ oil and salt offers a taste sensation you won’t find in any normal, everyday meal. Make the most of the summer barbecuing by using ingredients to suit your outside Summer kitchen. Both our BBQ salts and oils come in an original or spicy option. The original BBQ oil is made from smoked and garlic rapeseed oils made in the Cotswolds, as is our spicy oil which is smoked and charcoal rapeseed oil with added chilli. This is the same situation with our BBQ salts, as one offers a touch of chilli for those who prefer a kick in their cooking.
