It’s been another exciting week at Ross and Ross Food. David Cameron, our local MP, put us forward to represent Britain in a food and drink export event at the Houses of Parliament, which was attended by leading producers, industry experts and Lord Livingston (the UK Trade Minister), so Ross Bearman and our London man, Ben, went along and spent a day looking at opportunities for exporting to Europe. It turns out that MPs are big on selfies and they got one with Margot James, the organiser of the event, and another with Zadhim Zahawi, the MP for Stratford.
Ross Whitmill has been crazy busy cooking up some treats to fill our regular orders and for this weekend’s events, which are the Daylesford Summer Festival on Saturday, (http://daylesford.com/saturday-17th-may-summer-festival-farm/), and the Witney Food Festival (http://www.witneyfoodfestival.co.uk/).
Ross and Ross Food also has a new team member. My name is Megan, and I’m joining as a marketing and events management apprentice. This is my first week, and so far I’ve labelled and packed a few hundred slices of assorted pates and terrines, shaken with power as I sent my first campaign to over 4000 people in our database, and written this blog entry.
Come back next week for more behind the scenes exclusives of Ross and Ross Food.
