Over the past 12 days, we have posted and emailed our top 12 Christmas gifts from our Ross & Ross Food product range. Christmas can be quite a stressful time when thinking about all the food, putting up your decorations, hoping all your deliveries come on time and what to get people in the first place! This year we wanted to make it a little easier for everyone so we shared with your our 12 Gifts of Christmas!
Here is a quick run-down of all the gifts we featured just to refresh your memory:
On Day 1 we kicked it off with our very popular XL Man Box which is the perfect gift for their Dad, Uncle, Brother, Granddad, Boyfriend etc. The list goes on! You receive an abundance of delicious snacks, condiments and drink. We collaborated with a few brands to introduce various tastes and flavours.
Day 2 we presented you with our Homemade Curing Kit…Bacon which has proven popular with a wide variety of people and fitted well with the trend of curing all your own ingredients. This isn’t your usual Christmas food gift, this kit offers a proper foodie experience in the comfort of your own home, which you can’t find in many other places.
On the third day we introduced you to our NEW Smoked Hamper. Ready just in time for Christmas! This hamper is a collection of various products which all possess strong, smoky flavours. We have our very own BBQ Rub, Oil, Jam, Salt and Apple Chutney. We’ve also included Cotswold Chorizo from the Cotswold Curer and a bottle of La Barbacoa from Pip’s Hot Sauce.
Day 4 we brought you a new introduction to our product range, our Secret Santa Spicy Pig & Beer Box! We came up with the idea of this gift after discussing how difficult buying a someone a Secret Santa present can be, and you normally end up with something boring. This led to the creation of this brilliant box! Inside we have included a pack of Snaffling Pig Co. Hot-to-Trot Habanero Pork Crackling, Jalapeño Chilli Sausalami from Mr Trotter’s and a bottle of incredibly smooth Premium Cotswold Lager by The Cotswold Brewing Co.
The Chilli Lovers Hamper was the main feature on Day 5, perfect for those who love a little spice in their life! Much like our Smoked Hamper, this hamper includes a variation of food products for you to snack on and experiment with in your own cooking. Included in the hamper is our own BBQ Rub, Oil, Salt, Jam, along with a bag of Mr Trotter’s Jalapeño Chilli Pork Scratchings, Cotswold Chorizo from the Cotswold Curer and a bottle of La Boca Del Diablo by Pip’s Hot Sauce.
You wanted the ultimate Christmas gift, and it doesn’t get much better than this! On Day 6 we presented you with our Ultimate Bacon Sandwich Kit! This gift is an absolute treat for all you Bacon lovers out there! In the kit you receive all the items you’ll need to make the perfect Bacon Sandwich. This includes our very own, bestselling Homemade Curing Kit…Bacon, along with a bottle of The Foraging Fox Beetroot Ketchup and La Barbacoa by Pip’s Hot Sauce. Simply cure your Bacon, slice it up, grab a couple slices of bread, add any of the sauces and you’re done! The ultimate Bacon sandwich!
On Day 7 we offered you a little extra with our Smoked Hamper with Bacon Curing Kit! We expanded the hamper and threw in one of our bestselling and award-winning gifts, our Homemade Curing Kit…Bacon. Not only can you experiment with the ingredients in the hamper, but you can also get the experience of curing your very own Bacon! Enjoy incredible tasting snacks and have that sense of achievement as you try new things in the kitchen.
Day 8 out of 12 was for those who are not a huge fan of anything too spicy, as we showed you all our Original Secret Santa Pig & Beer Box! Inside this unique little box is a pack of The Snaffling Pig Co. Perfectly Salted Pork Crackling, the Original Sausalami from Mr Trotter’s and a bottle of The Cotswold Brewing Co. The spotlight was on our Ultimate BQQ Hamper on Day 9. Summer may be over but that doesn’t mean you can’t use our sensational Rubs, Oils, Salts and Jams. All our BBQ products are incredibly versatile and can be used all year round! For example, simply using our Habanero & Pineapple BBQ Jam as a glaze for a Roast Ham for Boxing Day. The high sugar content means the glaze will caramelise offering extra sweetness from the Pineapple, along with a kick from the flavours of the Habanero. What could be better?
Something simple, scrumptious and all about Salmon was our top gift on Day 10, with our Salmon Curing Kit. We forecasted the Salmon trend that has recently been occurring, along with what ingredients have proven popular and which best fit with Salmon, and this is what we’ve come up with! The kit includes three curing salts: Smoky Cure, Beetroot Cure and Cotswold Gin Cure. We collaborated with The Cotswold Distillery to create our Gin cure, using a section of their botanicals which will infuse the Salmon. Additionally you receive the rest of kit you will require to cure your own Salmon within 3 days!
Not much of a Beer fan? Prefer to enjoy a nice bottle of Cider? Well Day 11 was your lucky day! In our XL Man Box Cider you will receive two bags of Mr Trotter’s Pork Crackling, both Jalapeño and Original flavour, along with a jar of our own Apple and Plum Chutney, Spicy Chorizo and Salami by the Cotswold Curer and bottles of No Brainer 330 Cider and Hogan’s Medium Cider.
On Day 12 we made things a whole lot easier for you by featuring our Gift Voucher. Our £10 Gift Vouchers gives the recipient a chance to choose exactly what food gift they truly desire. Buy one or buy ten! You have the choice to order however many Gift Vouchers you want to give to someone. It’s a great way of getting someone the perfect gift!
